Privet!!!
This is Kerry and Scarlet and we are writing from our hotel hallway :) (the only place that we can get a good internet connection)
Today is Saturday, our day off, and it is the first moment we have had to just sit and process through some of the amazing things God is doing here!!!
In the past week we have spent a lot of time on campus meeting a lot of students and visiting some classes. The students are really excited to meet and spend time with Americans. As we met students we have begun to get into spiritual conversations with students and learned that they believe in everything from there being no God to there being some type of greater force to even the possibility of the God of the Bible being Lord. The Lord has even opened the heart of one girl who has accepted him as her savior!
On Thursday night we had a sport and hangout night, which God completely blew us away at. There are 25 team members and we were outnumbered 4 or 5 to 1 when trying to talk with all of the Russian students!!! A lot of good spiritual conversations occured during the outreach and many doors were opened. One girl, who said she was athiest said she wanted to meet and talk about who God is.
Next week we will continue to be on campus and meet with students. We have many contacts and must begin filtering through to find ones who are spiritually intereseted. Please pray:
~for discernment when meeting with students
~for favor with University Administration and others in the city
~for the outreach on Wednesday, it will be either a film festival or a swing dance
~for our team to be filled with the Spirit and to have energy to go out on campus
~for the health of our team, some people have had stomach problems, others colds (though its very warm)
~that the Lord would change this city and do things greater than we can imagine

Thanks for the post - it's a blessing to hear about what God is doing through and around you there in Russia. Praying that He will continue to open hearts and minds among the students there and use you to sow His Word richly in the "good soil" that He has prepared.
Our God is sooo great! He loves each of you! It is always exciting that he lets us work alongside Him in spreading the salvation brought to many through Jesus! Continue to seek Him, remember that this trip is not about you and it's not about the Russians, it's about glorifying the Creator God!

Everything seems to be going very well for you guys!! We will be praying and will be lifting each one of you up!! How are the hotels this year?
