Dear friends and family,
Tomorrow I will embark on a journey with God to Russia. I am amazed by what God has done already in preparing me for this trip. He's encouraged me through financial support and prayer. Just two weeks ago I needed over $2,000 in support for this trip. Now...by the grace and provision of God, I need nothing. He is good. God never makes a call without provision! I sincerely appreciate the prayers and support that you've so graciously given to make this trip possible for me. I'm extremely humbled by how God is able to use those closest to me to lift His name up in Russia. Please understand that you are going with me to Russia. I hope to keep a steady stream of blogs over the next 5 weeks. I'll not promise consistency, as there are limited internet cafes in the city. I'll try.

I love you all and pray that God will work in and through your life this summer, as well. God has called each of us as Christians to preach the word and be prepared in season and out of season. (2Tim 2:4). Embrace the fact that where ever you are this summer....that's where God has you. He has a purpose for you. His purpose is to glorify him. I sincerely wish that you could understand my heart in telling you these things. Oh, I long for each of you to become passionate about sharing Christ. I am no more of a missionary than you are. I'm lesser than you. Y I hope that you are blessed by God. Trust Him. Know that He is good and sovereign. He is all good things at once! You'll be hearing from me soon!
